Since 1986, the Northwest Tandem Rally has been bringing you premiere destination rides throughout Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and British Columbia. Drawing hundreds of tandem teams from around the nation, the rally is hosted in a new city venue each year and is organized by local cycling advocates and clubs.

The NWTR exists to bring together tandem bicycle enthusiasts once a year to promote bicycle tourism, camaraderie, and to raise funds for bicycle infrastructure and awareness.

The 2022 Northwest Tandem Rally is brought to you in partnership with Swift Summit Northwest, LLC and Co-Motion Bicycles, and is designating Free Bikes 4 Kidz Eugene-Sprinfield as a primary benefactor of this year's event. FB4K is a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those in need.

Saturday, July 2

Saturday's mass start ride takes riders along the majestic McKenzie and Mohawk Rivers, and meanders through the rolling valley of the Cascades foothills. Rolling through historic rural townships such as Marcola, Brownsville, and Holley, participants can expect breathtaking views, swooping descents, fully stocked aid stations and friendly volunteers.

Sunday, July 3

If Saturday's ride wasn't enough to plaster a grin across your face, Sunday's ride will make you feel like you're riding through a John Steinbeck novel. Following the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway, known for its gentle rolling hills and compelling beauty, you'll soak in the rich pastoral landscape and well shouldered, low traffic rural roads, that has put the Willamette Valley on the map as a premiere destination vacation for cyclists.
